It Hugs Back Lights in the Trees

A couple of gorgeous slices of Americana are to be found on the debut offerings by Kent’s It Hugs Back. Lights in the Trees is a lush dreamy effort with hushed vocals and muffled rhythms, sounding like Teenage Fanclub snuggling up for beddy bye byes with My Bloody Valentine. Equally impressive is the flipside, the frighteningly brief but delightfully gooey, Soft Spot and its wistful, tickled stringed folkpop. Out on 7” and download version only.
