1-2-3-4, it's a free festival in Shoreditch

Article written by Ged M
Jul 7, 2007.

There are hundreds of festivals this summer but often the best festivals are the free ones. And here’s a contender for your time (if not your money): The 1-2-3-4 Shoreditch Festival is a completely free festival in Shoreditch Park, London N1 on Sunday 5 August. There are loads of good bands playing, on three main stages. They didn’t send me a nice list of the bands to cut-and-paste for you so here’s just a sample of what you’ll see and hear:

MySpace Stage (hosted by those Queens of Noise): Har Mar Superstar (doubtless getting a nice tan in his skimpy pants), The Paddingtons, some special guest star, The Bishops, Neil’s Children, Lightspeed Champion and more…

Weekender Records Stage: Dogs, The Indelicates, Eight Legs, Subliminal Girls, Rocks, The Runners, People’s Revolutionary Choir and more…

Sensitive Youth Stage: Bono Must Die, Bolt Action Five, Lost Penguin and much more…

Accelerated Youth Dance Stage

Go to the website for more details and for a chance to win some special VIP passes to the executive bathrooms backstage…
