First acts for End of the Road 2012 announced

The End of the Road Festival has announced that Grizzly Bear will be a UK festival exclusive headliner at next year’s festival and Tindersticks are confirmed as a co-headliner.

Also in this first artist announcement for 2012: Beach House will play a UK festival exclusive as part of their special celebration of Bella Union's 15th Anniversary (more news to follow)! The bill will also be joined by The Antlers, Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard, Mountain Man, Frank Fairfield, The Strange Boys, I Break Horses, Justin Townes Earle, Richard Buckner, First Aid Kit, Doug Paisley, Robyn Hitchcock, Stranded Horse, Outfit, Moulettes, Driver Drive Faster, Delicate Steve, Robert Ellis and Sleep Party People.

Ticket prices for End of the Road Festival 2012:

Adult weekend (incl. camping): £150
Youth 13-17 years (must be accompanied by an adult): £120
Child 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult): £50
Child 0 - 5 years (must be purchased in advance & accompanied by an adult): Free
Campervan / Caravan pass £50

Further announcements will be made over the coming nine months. Tonight sees the festival meet the festive at the (sold out) End of the Road Christmas Shindig. This year’s party at Cargo in East London features Beth Jeans Houghton & the Hooves of Destiny, Dan Mangan and Oh Ruin as well How Does it Feel to Be Loved? DJs and some of the End of the Road DJs who made this year’s disco in the woods the most spectacular the festival has seen.
