How Vile! Kurt back with free tracks, EP and tour

Kurt Vile

Kurt Vile has announced he will return to Europe in February for a handful of headline shows. The dates includes a special set at London's KOKO as part of the NME Awards shows.

February 2012
20th - The Haunt, Brighton
21st - KOKO (NME Awards Show), London
22nd - Le Nouveau Casino, Paris
23rd - Botanique, Brussels

The shows follow the release of So Outta Reach, a 6-track EP containing songs initially recorded during the Smoke Ring... sessions, plus a cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Downbound Train'. To hear two of the tracks now, click to listen to 'The Creature' or 'Life's A Beach' (below). Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth appears on drums for 'Life's A Beach'. The EP is currently available as a limited 12" vinyl, and is also included in the deluxe reissue of Smoke Ring For My Halo (also out now).
