The Indelicates’ new single ‘Julia We Don’t Live in the 60s’ is released this week (2 July). Rather than have a launch party (how very 2006!) the ironic young radicals held a launch competition for fans to remix the song in a range of different styles (including grunge and death metal) and create videos inspired by the single.
They’ve done a better job than most so-called professionals. There are already 14 versions up there but our fave for the title alone is Simon Delicate and his Camomile Orchestra: ‘Julia We Don’t Live in the 30s’. See and hear for yourself; the results are posted here: http://indelicates.com/sixties
