If SoundsXP wasn't such a bunch of snotty nosed republicans with more dropped aitches than an Old Kent Road whelk seller our first gong for services to thoughtful indie pop and the broken heart manufacturing industry would be dished out to Darren Hayman. Sir Darren. Has a ring to it, knoworrimean?
Therefore imagine the overfilling incontinence pants we've suffered at the news that Sir Darren is reuninting with another Hefnerite Jack Hayter MBE to perform an evening of Hefner songs in order to celebrate the re-issue of Fidelity Wars in May. The date is 13th June at the Luminaire, Kilburn. Tickets will sell out fast so get yourself down to Wegottickets sharpish. Right, we're off to change our sodden trousers...
