Live at Leeds names its first acts

The first acts for the Live at Leeds Festival 2012 have been announced. Now in its 6th year the festival takes place over the bank holiday on 4th May to 7th May.

Rebranded this year to The Live At Leeds Weekend, it's not to be confused with the similarly named large corporate event, Leeds Festival. Bands so far:

Marina and the Diamonds, Los Campesinos!, The Subways, Ladyhawke, Dot Rotten, Friends, Howler, I Like Trains, Jamie N Commons, Lianne La Havas, Niki & the Dove, Ren Harvieu, Reverend and the Makers, Spector, Adult Jazz, Alt-J, Aluna George, Another’s Blood, Binary, Charli XCX, Citizens!, Dan Mangan, Fanzine, Grass House, Gross Magic, Hannah Trigwell, Holy State, Hunting Bears, Jake Bugg, Jessie Ware, Joseph & David, Just Handshakes We’re British, Moody Gowns, Novella, Random Impulse, Redwire, Royal Republic, Sam Airey, SCUM, Soul Circus, The History of Apple Pie, This Many Boyfriends, TOY, Turbowolf plus more artists and special guests to be announced over the coming weeks and months.
