Sheffield Tramlines bands and stage times announced

Tramlines - if the students aren't around we might get in somewhere
Sheffield's free city centre festival Tramlines is entering its second year from 23-25 July with loads of bands from the marvellously talented to the utterly shite (and various stages in between) playing various venues around town for FREE.

Full line ups at the links below, but for Soundsxp Friday night is a choice between The Crookes and Cats for Peru at the Grapes or The Big Eyes Family Players at the Rude Shipyard (wherever that may be).

Saturday looks like being one for some venue hopping, catching Standard Fare at the Leadmill then hopping to Future of the Left at the Corporation and finishing with Plush and Plastix at Penelope's. means missing a few good 'uns (Nat Johnson and Neil McSweeney) but them's the breaks.

Sunday looks like one for the Foundry, where Smokers Die Younger are on the bill with 65daysofstatic. Though there's Gallows and Rolo Tomassi elsewhere and even Echo and the Bunnymen on the main stage in Devonshire Green.

Or there's always Dane Bowers on the main stage (rumours that he's doing an in-store at Greggs' yet to be confirmed))...
