Standard Fares please! Busking on the bus at Tramlines

This year's Tramlines festival in Sheffield was a triumph. Too many decent bands to see them all. Lots of alternative attractions. And someone remembered to book the sun. The two 'buskers buses' which toured the town were amongst the daftest things - drawing all sorts of stares from those who knew the folly of cramming a double decker on a hot day and sending it teetering around the frankly atrocious, pot-holed streets and steep hills of Sheffield. Still, it was a laugh.

Soundsxp lazily propped its crappy camera on the front seat while our favourite guitar popsters Standard Fare played an acoustic set. Yep its a bit wobbly and ramshackle, but that's in keeping with the feel of the whole thing. And as we know, Standard Fare's songs are strong enough to stand up to pretty much anything...
