Asthmatic Kitty Records have announced a new EP by Sufjan Stevens, ‘All Delighted People’ is available today exclusively through Bandcamp for $5.00. You can download it here

The EP includes two versions of ‘All Delighted People’, which Sufjan debuted on his 2009 tour. Along with six other new songs, the collection is his first original song-oriented material since 2006, among them the first recording of live-show mainstay ‘The Owl and the Tanager’ and the elegiac ‘Djohariah’. Along with the guitars, piano, and banjo that characterize his previous recordings, choirs, strings and brass adorn these melodies.

‘All Delighted People’ will be available on all major digital platforms on Monday 23 August and a CD and vinyl release is planned for later in 2010.
