Wait no longer for Latitude line-up

Article written by Paul M - Mar 19, 2013

Latitude-Festival
Headliners for Latitude 2013 will be Kraftwerk, Foals and Bloc Party.

First to headline Latitude’s Obelisk Arena on the Friday will be Bloc Party. On Saturday evening German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk will take to the stage, a rare chance for festival goers to witness them performing their highly celebrated 3-D concert.

Other special appearances across the music stages include exclusive UK festival performances from Calexico, sister act, CocoRosie, and the only 2013 UK live show from Hot Chip and Mark Lanegan Band. Joining them with Latitude exclusive performances will be Rhye, The Tallest Man on Earth, Sohn, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Yo La Tengo.

The BBC Radio 6 Music Stage features headline sets from Baltimore dream-pop duo Beach House in a UK festival exclusive; Portland’s Modest Mouse; and Mercury Prize-winning Alt-J. Other acts across this stage include Everything Everything, Laura Mvula, IAMAMIWHOAMI, White Denim and Villagers.

The i Arena will see headline slots from Japandroids, Purity Ring and Moon Duo whilst The Lake Stage, curated by Huw Stephens, welcomes headline performances from Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Veronica Falls and The 1975.
