Ladies take over London

From 9th-11th May Ladyfest will have London gripped tightly between its thighs and will be hitting you with an array of exciting music, film and arts events. Spread across various venues including the Camden Underworld and Islington Arts Factory there will be performances by The Priscillas, Kimya Dawson, Das Wanderlust, Sky Larkin, Betty and The Werewolves, The Actionettes!, Slow Club and many many more. Plus there will be screenings of Lucy Thane’s film about Huggy Bear and Bikini Kill, Kerry Koch’s film 'Don’t Need You' about the American Riot Grrl scene amongst others, plus numerous workshops, comedy and, well, you really need to view the website to marvel at all the great stuff they have instore for us lucky Londoners. Forget about the foppish Mayor and immerse yourself in the festival of all things lady based.
