Only You Beautiful Strange

Don't you hate it when you go to a festival and then find out a band you later like, appeared? Well that will teach me to turn up on the Friday to End of the Road this year when Torquay's Big Wave played the night before. What I missed, judging by this lo-fi candy topped powerpop nugget and other Youtube offerings, is a fun loving five piece with a penchant for C86 and the fuzzier elements of 4AD. They hit London for their single launch party on the 28th of this month at the Buffalo Bar so don't miss out (again in my case).
