Waveforms Because Music 12”

They formed at art school in Edinburgh and are a bit of a “not” band: not strictly indie, not dance, not folk… but while they have elements of all those genres, the whole is a lot better than the sum of their parts. ‘Waveforms’ is intensely rhythmic and very catchy, with a great blocky beat and sirenish keyboards. There’s a great sense of the Beta Band in this single, although the additional tracks on the 12” are a bit of gilding the lily.
