End of Daze Sub Pop

Incredibly three of the five tracks on this brilliant EP were intended as mere B-sides when they were recorded in 2011. Unused to date, they were destined to be lost in the dusty vaults at Sub Pop. Thankfully someone at the label has now dusted them off and released them, making this an absolute must have physical purchase. The band deemed them "too different" and "atmospheric" originally but it's difficult to see why as sonically they seem to be cut from a very similar cloth to the contents of their stunning Only in Dreams album from last year. Therefore you can expect more vulnerable, traumatic personal life musings in the lyrics and lush waves of dreamy melodies wrapped in gentle fuzz, in their four originals and 1 cover (Strawberry Switchblade's gentle Trees and Flowers). Highly recommended.
