“You’re like someone ejaculated and left it to dry”. Charming. Nicer still is the song that comes from: ‘Nick and Ben Are Cunts’. Singer Ginger Bitter is well named, although she conducts her slagging off in some style. In 'Disco Dance Circa 1972' she complains: “you dance worse than my granddad/ well he’s dead but he dances better than you” and does it with imperious dominatrix vocals, the song sounding a bit like early Adam & The Ants. Elsewhere there’s a post-punk influence, and you can experience all six tracks for just 99p. The band seem stimulated by hatred of the record company that allegedly built them up and then dropped them, and while every track isn’t as impressive as the aforementioned tracks that act as bookends, the band are earthy, loud and brutally honest, if you’re up for that.
