Lee Mitchell: Love Is Here
Lee Mitchell is a singer/songwriter from Bangor nr Belfast and is a friend of fellow Bangorite (?) Foy Vance. Lee certainly shows that Bangor is developing a reputation for great songwriting to go with the velvety Northern Irish tones.

Title track 'Love is Here' is more upbeat in tempo than Mr Vance, and well into my first listen the toes are tapping along. A track worthy of a single release, and with some airplay destined to gain Lee some admirers and industry attention.

Second track 'Heart over Head' is reminiscent of another fellow Northern Irelander, original Snow Patrol member Iain Archer. Lee's vocal talents are more on show here. Beautiful harmonies (with an unknown female vocalist) follow, rocking you gently to a peaceful calm.

A more than capable first release from Lee, currently resident in Coventry. I urge you to check him out, and possibly catch up with him on one his early Summer shows.
