MIssion of Burma
Semi Psuedo Sort of Plan Fire

Article written by Michael H - Dec 1, 2012

mission_of_burma
Post-punk legends Mission of Burma return with a single from their current album 'Unsound'. Semi Sort of Psuedo Plan is a combination of lyrical intelligence and aggression; the song doesn't race to the end, MoB have always been happy to stretch out and pursue winding avenues become coming back to a thrashing chorus. The song has a pummeling rhythm section for the scraping guitar chords to soar over. Uniting behind stupid plans is the subject matter here, "Beware the march of progress", or at least some people’s idea of progress, they warn, which highlights the greatest strength of this band, a refusal to walk the path most travelled.
