The obvious highlight of last year's brilliant Skeletal Lamping album finally gets a release, albeit chopped back to its two and a half minute opening. A camp disco romp that features Kevin Barnes' extraordinary falsetto delivery, swooping Beach Boys harmonies and pulsating funky key rhythms to explicit raunchy demands that would make even Prince blush ("We can do it softcore if you want / But you should know I take it both ways"), it's as mighty as it's mucky. The flipside is a remix and delivers the expected variations (ie samples, pared back melodies and speed changes) required.
