Promises Promises

London indiepopsters Pocketbooks have an album released on Oddbox Records in September and this MP3 is a taster. The main course should be delicious if this sample is anything to go by. Their sound has come a long way since I first saw them perform about four years ago at the Luminaire as Promises Promises is a lovely swirling dust devil of soaring strings and girl group harmonies, set alongside bittersweet lyrics.
