Maybe it's no surprise that a cold nation in Northern Europe is now producing the world's most cocklewarming music. Already bigger than mere cults back home in Sweden (they've had top 3 success in both the LP and singles charts) this debut UK release is two sunny slabs of folk tinged girly indie pop. Nominal A-side It Could've Been You is the more instant, skipping along with its catchy chorus and stirring strings but the acoustic guitar and handclap simplicity of b-side La La La La is not just there to gather dust on its Scando grooves. Lovely.
