Straight-for-the-jugular Pixies-style guitar rock with gloriously anthemic chorus. They’ve been doing this sort of polished, self-assured, not-a-foot-wrong music since 2004 and I’m perplexed why they’re not far bigger since Sara Sanchez clearly has star quality and she and Martin Knight have a nose for a turbocharged melody. This was originally the B-side to ‘Islands’ and clearly is too good to be relegated to a supporting role.
