Tullycraft
Lost In Light Rotation Fortuna Pop!

Article written by Ged M - Jan 23, 2013

tullycraft.jpg
This is infectious bubblegum pop with a hint of Ramones and, not uncoincidentally, a reference to Bis’ ‘This Is Fake DIY’ before it reaches its anthemic climax. It’s sugary, yes, but not tooth-rottingly twee, and a definite keeper. Flip the record and you’ll find a cover of Yazoo’s ‘Bad Connection’. Yazoo, or Yaz as the Yanks knew them, were always a bit electro-twee and, though this is catchy bleep-pop, it’s also a little bit disposable.
