Two Door Cinema Club
Something Good Can Work Kitsune

Article written by Paul M - Apr 18, 2009

From the seaside rock n roll outpost of, er, Bangor in Northern Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club have dug their mitts deep into the bag of hooks and pulled out a handful with this ray of sunshine. With chirpy but pleasant airy vocals, chiming Afrobeat rhythms and a big whistle along chorus, it'll appeal to all fans of Vampire Weekend or just good x-over indie dance pop in general. The only downside is that it's so criminally short you have to keep replacing the needle on the record to listen to it all over again. The b-side Do You Want It All? is less immediate but has some neat call and response vocals and harmonies and would be a worthy single in its own right.
