‘Turning All The Lights Down’ is straightforward 3-minute indie-guitar-rock that sounds a lot like Dogs, while the Jam-like b-side ‘Shotgun’ bounces off the walls with its energy. Only clever hooklines and the articulate statement of youth culture concerns (drinking-fighting-shooting) mark the single out from the mass of identikit indie bands that clog, say, early-evening XfM.
