I neglected to say that I also went into what can only be described a hell hole last night. A pub so tacky and bad and populated by British Bulldog piss heads of all ages even Essex at it's worst would have rejected it as being a bit too rough like.

Well as some of you know I have moved to Bedfordshire and the pubs in the area are dominated by my favourite brewery :lol:

I went walking yesterday and came across this . It was a beautiful pub full of little rooms full of character.. Sadly the beer wasn't being limited to GK who it seems are now brewing Ruddles after taking over the Rutland Brewery a few years back and revitalised (dug up a corpse?) the brand again to enter a competition for a national supermarket chain which it won. It was okay but nowt special.

I also had a pint of Hanson's Olde Tripe (GK again) in another bland GK pub we came across and it has to be the worst beer I have ever drunk in my life. It's not often I leave a pint!

Luckily I have found some villages within walking distance with Wells-Youngs houses. That's for another day. And the best pub in Biggleswade is a Wells-Youngs too.
