I'll be honest with you. I'd swap the 'joy' of last day avoidance of relegation for the occasional trophy especially as unfortunately we often don't win on that last day.... The summer is a bloody long time when your team's just been relegated.

United are another team that can never be put in the loyal fan category. I remember some 50 something cockney red saying "I've supported them through thick and thin..." Yeah right, so you got releagted once in the early 70s and the rest of the time it's been an average of a trophy every season... That's very thin... And he was a fat bastard.
