Trembling Bells are Alex Neilson's song-based group who seek to reanimate the psychic landscapes of Great Britain and relocate them to some vague, mythic land where basic human crises are encountered and conquered via a love for canonical rock, traditional folk and Earlie Musik.
Other members include Lavinia Blackwall (vocals, keyboard, guitar), Ben Reynolds (guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Simon Shaw (bass, vocals):
Lavinia Blackwall has played previously with Alex in Directing Hand (who played LAWM last year) and is a member of the The Pedulums.
Ben Reynolds has played previously with Alex in various projects including Motor Ghost and is a songwriter and solo guitarist. His solo album 'How Day Earnt Its Night' is out 9th June on Tompkins Square Records
Simon Shaw is a member of Glasgow folk rockers Lucky Luke.
Alex Nielson has played drums for Alasdair Roberts, Bonnie Prince Billy ('Is It the Sea'), Josephine Foster, Richard Youngs, Jandek, David Keenan and more.

The Moll Baxter Band - Moll is a singer-songwriter-poet-short story specialiser and general all rounder and good egg! She's aided by some excellent musicians, including Rob Daniels on drums (currently drumming for Electric Free Time Machine and ex-theWisemen) and Simon Fletcher (also EFTM on bass). Expect great lyrics and a throbbing rhythm section!
Paddy Garrigan - in the original line-up of the Puma-Sutras (with Dan Haywood and Ben McCabe), the frontman of the much-missed Pier Group, multi-instrumentalist in the Wisemen, and currently guitarist in folk festival favourites the Weirdstring Band. And a solo performer of some magnitude! Last seen in Lancaster supporting Curtis Eller at LAWM.
Old Etonian Tory fuckpig Crook - Cam goes under a couple of different names including We Don't Know Who You Are Anymore and There's Nothing Funny About Paradoxes in which he sites Tunng, Mogwai, cLOUDDEAD, Four Tet, Daft Punk, DJ Shadow as influences. He says "I can't settle on a style for my musics so it all tends to flit between folk-ish instrumentals, post-rock and electronic". Sounds good to me.
Goldmundo - Psyche-folk stuff. Most often seen playing guitar for Dan Haywood's New Hawks and Starless & Bible Black, bass playing for Joyeux and the Little Hero Band, formerly frontman of the Wisemen, longest serving/suffering bass player for the Puma-Sutras, former bass player for the Gokarnas etc.
