Rules - by bedtime I mean sleep, not getting jiggy with it. Also - nothing with dream, dreaming, dreamer and so on in the title because we'll be here forever. That's a whole different subject. So songs about sleep really.
There were several Beatles options - So Tired, I'm Only Sleeping, Golden Slumbers... but after hearing this again the other day it has to win (and be number 1). Interesting fact: The only member of The Beatles who appears on this song is Ringo. And that's pretty rare!
Also, you could probably count Sleeping In by Menswe@r as a Beatles song, because it's basically paperback writer...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nNDcxtR4oI2) The Raveonettes - Sleepwalking (2005)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5Wl9C5QWnYOne of their finest tunes IMO.
3) Spiritualized - Goodnight Goodnight (2008)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF_wkiO4IokBeautifull end track to the bizarrely overlooked Songs In A&E album.
4) The Dandy Warhols - Sleep (2000)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCrIt1koGaoHit and miss band, but this is lovely
5) Belly - Now They'll Sleep (1995)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlFzWn_-EdQBecause they were just great. I'd rather have a Belly reunion that a Pixies one.
Narrowly missing the cut - Marion - Sleep, Cornershop - Sleep On The Left Side, Gene - Sleep Well Tonight and assorted versions of The Lion Sleeps Tonight (I grew up listening to the Tight Fit one as that was out at the time.)
