We are really disappointed, it was set to be a cracking night.

The venue had been fined on a number of occasions in recent weeks for fly posting by promoters using the venue. We were warned and stopped postering on council property, however at least two other promoters didn't stop it and so the council stopped last nights Ska Burlesque night going ahead and told The Montague no other nights could go ahead until they resolve the issue. What is really galling is that we get punished when we have done what the council asked.

Well I was going till I read it. And Cavey's prophecy begins...today smoking, tomorrow the world. Give authority a taste of power and they go nuts. Anyway thank you Lewisham Council for my lovely new varnished toe nails (coffee colour) I had a girly night instead.
