I is not fussed. I'm not sure of my work schedule still. What time would we meeteth, Mime boy? I feel that we should go on opening day so that we can look back on it in our old folk homes and say 'Yes, I was there on opening day.'*

Fopp were ok compared to Tescos, Asda, Amazon and Virgin/HMV because they found a little niche in the gap between the big bucks profit first traders who play it safe and the genuine music fans who take the risks but recognise decent music outside of the big labels eg Rough Trade, Piccadilly, Pure Groove, etc. Problem is without Fopp too many places are now going to be left to Tescos. Bromley now only has 2 music shops (I'm ignoring Smiths and Woolies), HMV and Virgin, both of which do not stock 7s. Croydon has the same 2 plus 3 second hand shops. None sell new release 7s. I don't think Lewisham even has a single music shop anymore. These three shopping centres cover a huge area. In fact Places like Charlton, Sutton and Greenwich are the same. I'd hazard a guess that it's now impossible to buy new 7s anywhere south of the river. This is a format that's supposed to be booming. I hope to be corrected.
