After a slew of killer singles and a cracking compilation album - The Blanche Hudson Weekend are releasing their full debut album (Squirrel Records) and they've asked if Odd Box could organise the launch show. More details of the album will follow.

The Blanche Hudson Weekend(Featuring Caroline and Darren (ex-The Manhattan Love Suicides)) along with a bunch of other Weekenders, bring you all kinds of noise, fuzz, melody, dissonance, rawness, killer tunes and buzzsaw pop. Over the past 12 months they've nailed their live show.

They're noisy. They've got bags of tunes. They're super fucking awesome. They were the best band at this years indietracks. They're fucking loud (Did I say that already?). Their EP on Odd Box has nearly sold out in 3 weeks (catch a copy while you can). This time they'll be playing as a power trio. Expect more songs about wanting to be an alcoholic, summer jackets and not being able to wait.


There will be two more bands to add to the line up. And we'll be running a Fall Out Make Up club night after the bands - so get your Ramones T shirts out.

The 4th band is now confirmed.

Anguish Sandwich are a riot in a teacup. They played a blinding set at this years indietracks festival (not to mention the BBC introducing stage at Reading and Leeds festivals! (see video below). They're from the beat central town of Northampton. Don't let that put you off. They feature Chris East (aka Winston Echo) - so are of course brilliant. We're lucky to have them. And so are YOU.

Bracelettes play fast and furious Ramones inspired grrrlpunk. Satori and Ayako from Tokyo met in a punk record shop in London where Ayako works, and both took up instruments as beginners and started practicing in the shop – playing Ramones songs to start with, just like everybody else does. Bracelettes have been playing gigs with various bands, including Shonen Knife, Trash Kit, Veronica Falls, Ted Leo, Young Livers, and GBH! The band are going to be on the next round of the Odd Box Singles Club.
