Bony looks very very good indeed, in a sort of bull in a china shop with lethal finish kinda way. Great to have as a lone striker as I can't imagine he looks to pass that often (having seen him v City and United in quick succession)

Bony started poorly - he had a terrible touch, slow etc, etc. Now with Michu out, we've used him to hold the ball up and he's looked better. He's strong, got a good shot and is good in the air. He's got 11 goals now, like to see him get 25+ in all competitions.

I think he'll continue to improve, too.

Laudrup gone. Wish him well but I'm not surprised or sad. We've been pretty awful since we won the LCup - form from March to now is relegation form.....

Garry Monk is well respected at the club. We will stay up. Just.

Sacking Laudrup was plain stupid in my book. A few injuries and a run of difficult fixtures and they sacked him even though he added the most meaningful trophy they've ever won, in his brief stint. Madness.

They're 10 points worse off than they were after 24 games last season...but one trophy better off than they were this time last season.

It's the club's decision and I think you can generally judge by the fan's (of said club) reaction when a manager is sacked whether or not it was fair or harsh. Most Swansea fans seem to be saying fair enough to the sacking but don't hold any bad feeling toward him. To me, that says it was probably done at just the right time.

Also, from a personal point of view, Laudrup being sacked while minus 10 points from last season, hopefully increases the chances of Utd looking a little harder at Moyes currently sitting on minus 19 points from this time last season...

I think in general it's become a bit of a cliché to say "gotta give a manager time" every time one gets sacked. I'd add in there - gotta earn time. And I'd also add that like the wider world, football is faster - decisions are faster and information is faster in general.

Statistics of the game are more readily available to everyone involved in the club (or anyone in general), and it's much easier to see when someone's in free-fall.

I personally think managers have a great job, and great life and that they're charmed to have such work. If the club they're at decides to buy out their contract, then fair enough. If they're that good they'll soon prove it somewhere else, but all too often they don't.
