If Brand and Ross were going to get sacked for being outrageous on Radio 2 (!) I just wish they'd managed to do something a bit funnier. Or just not completely, depressingly cuntish.

They rang up a harmless old geezer and left obscene messeges for him about having sex with his grand-daughter. Then they joked about him killing himself. And they broadcast the making of those messeges on national radio. Is there any other job in the universe where doing something like that WOULDN'T be an automatic sacking?

Doubt it.

And it's removed Ross's chat show from the air - if the sacking of Brand was the price for that, it's well-worth paying, I say. Now, if only someone could do something about Paul Ross....
