Just seen a Wedding Present mailout that announces that both Andy Burnham and Stella Creasy (Lab, Walthamstow) are big Weddoes fans. She says: "I was a passionate indie kid. Still am. The best thing that happened to me recently was when David Gedge followed me on Twitter".

Will it be Lord Gedge when Labour are next in power?

There was a thing in NME this week with Leighton Baines giving his run down on loads of bands. He likes Tame Impala, Cat Power, The Black Keys, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys and is mates with Miles Kane apparently.
