as of yet athough I have two singles from Honey's Dead. Guess I need to get some cheapies from e-bay in.

Don't have the last two either. Psychocandy passed me by originally. I got into 'em around Darklands when the critical knives were justcstarting to be sharpened already. As I remember, by the time of Honey's Dead you couldn't find a good word for them anywhere. The orthodoxy pretty much had them pegged as one trick has beens for 15 years or so. So much so that any association was death. I very much remember that even the better reviews for Trompe Le Monde considered Pixies covering Head On to be the shark on the horizon. And the Buttholes got pilloried for a lot on Pioughd but mainly for including a Mary Chain pastiche version of Something. Er, which is why I'm surprised anyone might think they were supposed to like them.

I do though.

Munki is a great album. Probably my fave. Excluding Psychocandy. I dunno, Psychocandy is a bit odd when comparing to their other stuff in that it's so different. The other albums fit together in more of regular band progression, if you follow.
