Agreed. He was no Peelie, obviously, but equally he wasn't nauseating like the Hairy Chuffcake, Master "Simon" Bates, etc... |

He was a character (not ‘alf!) but his musical taste was pants. I remember growing up to the sound of his Saturday Sequence when he played prog rock all the time (my hatred of ELP and Genesis starts there). Musically, he was the anti-Peel but as course never as bad as the Hairy Arsequake, Turdy Blackburn and Noel Edmongs. |

Well he ain't even cold and you're already slagging 'im off. Shame on yer all. I loved him. Sad though innit? How he just passed on in an old folks home like the rest of us will. Wonder if he used to dj in the home on an evening in between bingo and the like? Shame we have to get old... |
