I implore anyone at a loose end to go and see Brakes and Tiny Dancers at King's College. Two fantastic live bands on the same bill. Tickets still available: A Twat Writes: I sadly can't make it as I'm... *NAMEDROPPING PONCE ALERT*... off to see an exclusive UK preview of Mel Gibson's new movie, Apocolypto, at the Empire. I hope they've scrubbed up that red carpet since the last time I walked it... No doubt I'll be plonked in the back row next to Jade Goody, who'll be slurping on her Kiora and dropping her Westler's in my lap again... |

fanbleedingtastic brakes have taken a step on and become a monster of a live band i spoke to marc the bassist and he thinks its just being on tour that has done it (they toured with the killers and then on their own) but whatever it is they have somehow managed to get better |

When I saw brakes at Bestival at the end of the summer they were really really good live. I've a soft spot for Marc as he was/is in the Tenderfoot too and I really love them. |
