No, not Liverpool vs Chelsea in the Champions League, but Leicester City vs Norwich City this saturday. Former Norwich boss Nigel Worthington joins Leicester this week with former canaries coach Doug Livermore, their first game being against the club that hounded them out. Even the best scriptwriters couldn't have come up with that one. + Doug Livermore and Nigel Worthington Vs An angry Norwich manager and some angry Norwich fans. + Place your bets.... |

I don't understand this football grudge like. Basically what did Nigel Worthington actually DO to get the levels of vitriol he's subjected to? He got a shit club into the Premiership and relegated again... then the preceeding seasons the results weren't so good... people called for his head... he said "I think I can turn this club around, bear with me", he couldn't, and then he left the club. You got your wish! Belated maybe but he buggered off in the end... why are Norwich fans still angry? Am I missing something? Did he profess a preference for Gary Rhodes in the TV Chef stakes? Did he go on holiday to Cromer and say it was "average" or something? I just don't get it... |

Got alot of time for Granty boy. Our season went down hill when we let him go to Norwich. Coincidence? Perhaps. But he was a great coach for West Ham. Hope you do well with him. |
