Harry Hill is a near deity in the SPT household. Mrs SPT has been a fan for years. TV burp makes me laugh like a drain. |

i was excited! tv burp makes me laugh in that totally uncontrolled breathless helplessly contorted face way. the last time i remember laughing like that at something on TV i was probably the fast show when i was about 15. also harry related: that thing on you've been framed with the kid being chased around in circles by the fish he'd just caught dangling from his fishing rod made me spill tea all over myself a couple of weeks back. i had to watch the rest of that and tv burp in my pants. |

btw one of the "programme associates" (ie writers) is a regular on the British Sea Power board - which is another thing in the Burp's favour. |

In this bleak and troubled world, TV Burp is televised sunshine. My mate's daughter (who is 7) loves it also. After the first time she saw it she spent the next few days running around singing "Elaborate dog wee of the weeeeeeeeek!". |

so true. my favourite alternatives to that slot so far have been: "least amount of sick procuced when being sick of the week" and "tv high voice of the week" did you see the "phil from eastenders is slowly deflating" montage a couple of weeks ago? that made me cry. that and the ken from coronation street's pants are on fire thing. i've actually started watching the previously hated soaps in gleeful anticipation of what bits harry's going to pick up on. |

Same here! How sad are we? I loved the one with deidre being reduced to tears because she could not light her cigarette and her disgust at barlow's pj's  And there was this loo scene were somebody was confessing to somebody else while sitting on the crapper - and harry's standing in the corner going 'How long are you gonna be?' and then he pulls the top hat out to piss in. Heh.
