And wouldn't you know her sentiments have a 'marketing' theme behind them. What a bint? She's designed a dining sleeve? Some people don't even get dinner, Shez. How many receipts will be spat out of the till when people buy her dining sleeve? Paper waste, Shez. Isn't all this rubbish? I call to mind the great global warming swindle where even the founder of green peace said it was all bollocks? Did I dream that? (wanders to dream thread) Also if wiping your arse really is going to destroy the planet shouldn't we be putting andrex to bed and using the tabloids to wipe our jacksies with? (that's all their worth now) like in days of ye olde? Read paper/wipe arse with same - that's energy saving. |

Ummm, I thought that as long as you use tissue made from recycled paper and that hasn't been bleached using chlorine it was ok for the environment? Have I got that all wrong? |

I watched a bit of that programme Cavey so I could be wrong here and feel free to shoot me down, but, wasn't the programme talking about global warming produced by carbon as being inaccurate rather than global warming produced by general human activity? Are these two different things? Or have I buggered my banter up again... |

Ah, westie, back in me old days of tv production we used to call the bbc the government's bitch because of it's funding situation. I still do. It can't shake the coat tails of the queen (the government being her bitch) and it gets all this money to bring television screenings of 'importance' to society...so of course we get.... EastEnders (that will keep the common man happy while we corrupt society with their own tv licenses - *kick their heels as they skip off into the shady distance* - the echoes of 'Throw a few cockney sparrow phrases into the line of fire to confuse those chimney sweeps, sweeps sweeps, sweeps...')
