It seems i only post on here when i have something to advertise, which isn't on really, so i'll endeavour to mend my ways. In the meantime, I'd like to advertise a gig we're organising on Friday 8th June at Taylor John's House, Coventry here mainly becuase i think The Twilight Sad are a band people would travel for!

The Twilight Sad are fucking incredible! I missed them at the Borderline a few weeks ago and I'm pretty pissed off at myself for that...

I can see 'em becoming another Scottish underground phenomenon myself. Haven't had one for a while...

I agree. The obtuse song titles, wall of sound guitars and that thick Scottish croon put them in a long line of great Scottish bands. They hardly play in the UK, and then it's mainly in London or Glasgow, so it's an absolute pleasure to have booked them. I just hope people turn up, otherwise it's Tesco Value Baked Beans and Sunblest bread for a few months!

I'm quite proud to say that Tough Love featured them on the compilation album (the one that got cained on here! :wink: ) released nearly a year ago. I'm still waiting for the kudos. Do they send it in the post? By they i mean those anonymous purveyours of great taste, whoever they may be!
