(the NME bash though you could argue the whole 'music front' where they're concerned because it's image over substance 99% of the time - and breathe) yet she's getting them out for all and sundry.
Ah yes, that's right because i've checked the advice book for how to be taken seriously in the music business and it states quite clearly:

I didn't approve of that NME cover because it was again exploitative (a naked woman to sell papers - but teasing because she wasn't actually showing anything - explain to me how that's different from the Sun's page 3, Conor McNicollarse). There's a point where empowerment becomes exhibitionism and Beth Ditto has passed it. She's 'token fat bird letting it all hang out' in all the papers - good for her bank balance, not good for changing people's attitudes.

It's not cruel. I'm not exactly a stick insect but then i'm not stripping for the NME. She's an idiot and she'll be in the french and saunders christmas special* just before she fades into obscurity. She couldn't just settle for musical genius could she? She had to sleep with the NME...

Well all I can is that she's obviously not the 'strong' woman she tries to display if she was persuaded to get her kit off. It's just a let down. And as for polly, I love her, I really do, but she's another one who gets a thumbs down for exhibiting body parts. What happened to music for the sake of facking music? And I think that Ditto has not got a lot of interesting things to say at all.
