Their songs shine brightly and their intensity burns stronger than a forest fire. XFM have described them as 'an upbeat Postal Service with added trumpets and drums with the volume turned high'. Sweet. Artrocker favourites Rosemary have that classic Kinksy British guitar pop sound with some snaggy tunes to boot.. 'the perfect mix of modern indie and 60s pop' - NME ...are an ace 60‚s tinged pop band whose recent LP 'Techicolour'‚ was album of the week in the Sunday Times. They also had the pleasure of performing live in a broadcast from Peel Acres on Valentine's Day 2002. ...play fun scuzzy pop-punk and have recieved airplay on Radio One and BBC6 Music. They've had singles out on Purr and appeared on comps from Stolen, Artrocker and Purr. They also played the first session of Marc Riley's new Radio 6 series Brain Surgery‚. ..were formed from the remnants of various bands including Rhesus and Ciccone. As soon as they hit the London gig circuit they caused a stir with their satirical lyrics and infectious beats. Debut single Burn Koko‚ is out soon on Weekender Records. ...are a London three-piece who make wonky and joyfully noisy pop music and an engagingly clever mix of mathrock, quirky blues and post-punk. |
