George Melly is no more. The talking head on television with the loud suits and eyepatch (apparently he had an eye removed to make one more hole into which he could pour booze) has shuffled off this mortal coil from lung cancer at the age of 80. The band Digby Fairweather's Half Dozen will never be the same… |
