In my experience, Luton's a good place if you want a pool-cue wrapped round your chops. I was once in a tiny pub in Luton at 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon. There was one other guy in there, plus the landlord. They started a fight. I was impressed. Then I went to the cinema at an equally innocuous time. There were about 5 other people seeing the film (The Evil Dead, as I recall). Two of them started a fight during the adverts. The staff dragged them out but then threw them back in just as the film began. I was impressed. Gateshead's not bad for pro-active face-twatting either. Just turn up at the Lindesfarne Arms with a southern (ie, south of Gateshead) accent. |
