Well not really, hopefully, but it's 11.45 in the morning in late July and it looks like 9pm in January out there. Virtually pitch black here in central London. Still a story about a seagull that nicks crisps to cheer us all up... |

it's fucking weird isn't it? i couldn't face getting out of bed this morning. so i didn't till about 10. after a bit of a lounge about in a bath i was ready to bike to work but on opening the front door i was confronted with the weirdness. i just stood on the doorstep looking at the reluctant rain seepingfrom a low leaden sky and wondered what the fuck was going on. it's fucking GREEN out there. perhaps the earth has stopped rotating. perhaps ming is toying with our earth "doctor zarkov! there's no sun! it's ten twenty four in the morning and there's no sun!" so we've got hot hail and queen to look forward to. |

The strip light has gone above my desk meaning I am working in darkness... looking out of a window over Whitechapel which is grim enough anyway without the sky being blacker than Carol Vorderman's heart... Luckily I'm in a very good mood. D'you know for some Britons this will be the last 'summer' they ever have? What a profoundly depressing thought... |
