I know that for you London sorts, life's a non-stop 24-7 whirl of musical enjoyment and gigs, but here in the provinces I'm used to a more sedate pace and well-distributed excitement - but the middle of this month is a little tornado of musical delight for me, which I thought I'd share: August 11th - MSTU at the Merlin, buy the album August 13th new rilo kiley single August 17th-19th Green Man festival - with too many lovely things to list August 20th - new richard Hawley and Rilo Kiley albums And right slap bang in the middle of that lot is my birthday - just need the weather to hold and it'll be perfect... |

Enjoy! Hope the MSTU gig goes ok. The venue and audience need to be just right for them to work. Any chatter and you can't hear them. |
