good question (although i don't think Tommy Lee is heroed by many people beyond the MTV 'dude' generation). but back to the question at hand - i think it's to do with two crucial factors... authenticity and pity. if both of these factors are missing, the person will come over as a cunt to the general public. if one factor is there, there's a chance they'll be seen as a hero. if both factors are firmly in place you can guarantee they're gonna be remembered as a legend. |
