I listened to someone for a full 30 minutes tonight rant on about a great advert. It was one I was vaguely familiar with in idea form at least becuase the Guardian Media supplement had told me thatit was one of the most successful viral ads of recent times... and then I saw . Is that it? |

Viral ads? A load of cocksucking media-types patting themselves on the back. Real advertising is done via the phone, these days. |

^ heh - it's not original though because they've just taken the drumming bollo from the mighty boosh and stuck him in a room - in the words of ricky gervais - 'lazy' - my mum loves it but thinks he's selling air freshener for some reason? Is he selling loads of products via his drum kit? I so agree with you, José - we were watching lord of the rings the other night (even though i've seen it a million times before) and they kept cutting to ads at crucial moments - if that's meant to create a 'cliffhanger' effect they're wrong. It just pisses me off. They might aswell just let the characters do the advertising in the film - for instance: Frodo: About this ring.. Gandfalf: Talking of rings I had a spicy one last night - let me dump this wizard shit and i'll be back... *cut to gandalf holding andrex - a twinkle shine of the teeth* |
